BG Universal Super Cool^®

Over time, protective additives in engine coolant become depleted. Degraded coolant can be acidic and incapable of protecting the components in the system. This results in damaging corrosion in the formation of rust, scale, and other debris that prevent proper engine temperature regulation. Left untreated, this condition may cause leaks, overheating, and other drivability problems.

BG Universal Cooling System Cleaner

Over time, rust and scale can build up in the cooling system. When deposits form on heat transfer surfaces, the engine loses the ability to effectively cool off. Buildup also restricts coolant flow, causing overheating and possible engine damage.

BG Universal Cooling System Cleaner removes built-up scale, oil, and harsh mineral deposits. It also removes tough residues caused by oil fouling and coolant inhibitor breakdown.

BG Universal Cooling System Sealer quickly and completely plugs leak points in the coolant system. Refined organic fibers carry sealer particles that build on each other around a hole until it is completely plugged.

BG CT2 Coolant Transfusion System

PN CT2

BG CT2 Coolant Transfusion System quickly and efficiently installs new 50/50 coolant while simultaneously removing worn out coolant.

Engine coolant is under extreme pressure to perform. As coolant flows through the engine, it gradually loses its additives and thus becomes corrosive and unable to effectively dissipate heat from the engine or insulate it from the cold. Conventional drain-and-fill methods of changing coolant are time-consuming and messy.

BG CT2:

• Exchanges worn out coolant for fresh coolant
• Prevents the intermixing of new and used coolant
• Sends fluid through places in the cooling system not accessible when fluid is flowing in the regular direction

Like the BG CT4, the BG CT2 performs an effective BG Cooling System Service. However, the BG CT2 exchanges the old and new fluid simultaneously while the BG CT4 vacuums out the used fluid and then installs new fluid.

Cooling System Parts Definitions

Water Pump – Transfers heat from the hot coolant to the air blown through it by the fan.

Thermostat – Opens & closes, allowing the engine to heat up quickly & stay at  a constant temperature by regulating the amount of antifreeze/coolant that goes through the radiator.

Radiator – Transfers heat from the hot coolant to the air blown through it by the fan.

Cooling Fan – Helps maintain a constant engine temperature by turning on when the temperature of the coolant goes above a set point and turning back off when the temperature drops below a set point.

Heater Core – Radiator-like device used in heating the cabin of a vehicle.
